During the Committee’s meeting on 25 February 2015 Professor Lengagreed to provide the Committee with:

· an outline of NICE’s work programme for developing guidance for safe staffing for nursing in settings beyond adult inpatient wards in acute hospitals; and

• NICE’s report on its assessment of the cost impact of its Safe staffing for nursing in adult inpatient wards in acute hospitals guidance.

The Committee received a response from Professor Leng on 09 March 2015.
